Impacts of Parental Involvement and Parents’ Level of Education on Student’s Academic Accomplishment

Parental involvement in school has been demonstrated to play a crucial role children’s academic achievement. This article examines the relation of adolescent's achievement parental and parent’s education level, separately, grounded on quantitative approach. All participants were middle-class dual-earner parents from eight cities across United States. Spearman's correlation coefficient was used find out if adolescent performance is correlated with involvement, Mann–Whitney U test utilized when compared between groups different educational levels. Results show that only certain dimensions involvement. further that, board, achievements do not significantly differ levels parents’ all are equally committed education. As result, this study concludes effect success differs by type engagement level does carry much weight over actively involved their schooling. Both limitations suggestions for future studies also discussed.
